Curriculum of Reading Upgrade

The map below shows the 50 lessons that students must complete in order to finish the Reading Upgrade course. The lessons begin with phonics and phonemic awareness and rapidly introduce common sight words, word decoding, and multi-syllable words. The final 10 lessons cover passage comprehension concepts, with extensive practice reading a variety of text. Below this map is a listing of concepts and in what levels they are covered.
